MOdule 10
Well, I've come to the end, finally. Everytime I sit down to open a new module I spend so much time exploring the options within the module. There is so much to learn.
Wikis and Nings seem to be the way to go for social networking. I particularly liked the way Wiki is set up to organise information . The example was clear to follow and practical. I could apply this to many of my facets of learning. I would also like to be on line to get ideas from other communicators for ESL issues as sometimes I feel isolated as there is so little professional reading.
The tools which I feel that suit my style of teaching in relation too my employment are tagalaxy, creative spaces, wordle (ESL) bubbl.us, delicious to name a few. These are the tools which I feel more confident with at the moment.
All in all, it has been a terrific learning tool for interactive technology. The students are moving along so quickly so it is imperative that we catch up or at least steeer them in the right direction.

Module 9
Todays module was interesting reading and collating of information.
I liked the SNAPPY interactive presentation format. I could certainly use this with my Gifted students group when they create a visual image and apply text to enhance their work. EG; Sculpture by the sea excursion this week. They can also share this work with peers and family.
Celebrating Maths is clearly is an effective source for my ESL students. The directions are clear and visually interesting, whilst educational.
SCOOTLE is a fantastic learning pathway. There is so much work which we have access to. Teachers need to become more open to sharing ideas and networking each other. I loved Scootle as it opens up so many possibilites.

Module 8
I feel like I'm improving in assessing and tracking the information I require.
Google reader will certainly keep me updated with information and ideas which will enhance my teaching and learning. I will use this in supporting the material in my lessons and to assist furthering the thinking skills of the students. All areas of curriculum can be applied and I will access this next term with the students. All new ideas are exciting especially when they work so quickly.

MOdule 7
Setting up the Delicious account took some time but it was worth it as it is really a great organisational tool for information and sharing. It's also liberating to access other people's information if they are on the delicious site. I can use my sites with other teachers in my field and have an immediate response of their thoughts in this material. Having it all together is a bonus. Will give it a go for sure.

Module 6
Today has been frustrating because I really wanted to use the bubbl.us in class but the computer was taking a long time to generate the information and send it .
Fortunately, I was successful and I am pleased with the work . I will use this in my next lesson and teach the "gifted students how to access this tool.
I love it.
Glogster was fun and highly creative. I can see the benefit of my students using this.
Each module has its own rewards.

Module 5
This modules opens up another way of communicating ideas with students.
I liked the idea of podcasting. I could use this to take photos of the student's art work and apply appropriate music to accompany the vision. Eg; environmental work of John Dahlsen. By adding a thong from each student one at a time the images will be gradually built up to form the whole video.
There is so much content in the Storynory. It just seemed to be endless. The more I searched into the site the more I found. I will definitely spend more time investigating this site. I was particularly interested in the Greek stories as I am teaching myths and legends at the moment so the students can go to Storynory and read the literature. Some students prefer this style of reading, it suits thier learning style so why not use it as well as books. Then they can blog their ideas so I can assess their comprehension of the story.
This module is a great teaching and learning tool for both teachers and students.

Module 4
Today was most valuable. The 'make stuff' section was terrfic with the search for photos.
Being able to post photos to people and they can in turn view them and make a comment is like a magic trick. It is so immediate and fulfillling to both parties. Catergorising them makes for easy access and retrieval. The 'guest pass' is also a great idea. It enables those who are not signed up.
The Flickr site has already been passed onto my students as I can see the many ways which they can enhance their learning, presentations, sharing ideas with the teacher and peers.
Now I need to practise and apply these new found skills of mine.
Each module certainly does build on the other. I look back now to Module 1 and I feel that I am more confident with this new tool of learning and I am keen to keep on going.
It has been a great idea to participate in this course with fellow staff members as we encourage each other and we also know that we can discuss the course at other times and share experiences. Bring on Module 5!
